I am an English Language Arts instructor who is confident and passionate about my content. I am adept at building relationships with students and faculty alike, and using these relationships as a springboard for student success.

My multi-cultured experiences have honed my skills in a myriad of classroom necessities such as differentiated instruction and assessment, collaborative learning, and integrating technology.

I pride myself on my ability to build the same passion in others, and to create life-long learners who are ready to take responsibility for their own learning.

Educational buzzwords aside, I genuinely believe that reading and writing are the tools our students will use to shape the future.  Using literature to foster empathetic critical thinkers and questioners is how we ensure social justice for everyone, and I cherish being a part of the journey for our soon to be leaders.
